Description

The Embassy of France in Korea is announcing its call for applications for the France Excellence government scholarships, allowing Korean students to pursue master's and doctoral degree programs in France.

This scholarship is primarily intended for newly enrolled or admitted Korean students in a French higher education institution for the academic year 2024-2025. Students of other nationalities are encouraged to apply first to the scholarship programs offered by the French Embassies in their respective countries.

Applicable programmes

Benefits

Monthly allowance for living expenses (approximately €860 for master / €1588 for doctoral programs).

Round-trip airline ticket : Korea - France.

Access to a place in a residence or university housing (subject to availability), with the student being responsible for the fees and charges.

Exemption for Etudes en France registration fees (refund of procedure fees, excluding those already initiated).

The scholarship will be renewed subject to advancement to the next academic year.

Eligibility

  • Students of korean nationality who will be newly enrolled in a doctorate or master's degree 1st or 2nd year in a French higher education establishment or in a engineering or business school(Grandes écoles) for the September 2024 intake.
  • The programs chosen by students must lead to the award of a national diploma or one recognized by the French Government.
